Engaging Men as Allies:
A guide for ERGs
We often work with Women's ERGs who face similar barriers in engaging male colleagues in ERG initiatives. A study from BCG found that 96% of organisations see progress when men are engaged in gender inclusion initiatives, compared to only 30% of organisations where men are not engaged - so having that support and advocacy is crucial if we’re to see real, lasting change.
In response to our conversations with Women’s ERGs, we’ve compiled a free, downloadable guide. It's full of practical actions that resource groups can implement including ideas for events, shareable resources and a step-by-step guide to facilitating a Listening Circle.
We hope you find it useful and would love to hear how you get on implementing some of these suggestions. If you have any questions, feedback or ideas to add, please do get in touch hello@wearesquash.com
